## What THE PLEDGE means

THE PLEDGE = minimal Usage by performing ALL operations on a workstation such as the Mac Mini: all scripts, all processes, and only minimal interaction with AI.

THE PLEDGE is about minimal usage and COST SAVINGS THAT ARE NECESSARY.

## Operational rules (honor by default)

1. **Max workstation / min AI**
2. **Gather, scan, dashboard, API, routines** = local scripts/processes on the friend's Mac Mini (or their named workstation) — **$0 AI tokens**
3. **AI only for:** bet opinion / research on a potential bet / when the human explicitly asks
4. **No scheduled AI research pulses**
5. **Dashboards on-demand only**
